Hello everyone,Camille Here.
Its been a while I know, and I have been procrastinating on a level that is almost pure genius.
Every time I sit down to write an update, the voice in my head that often seems to run everything says, “Why?Who Cares?Nap?” While I may skip the nap, the motivation to type words here usually slinks off somewhere.
I had a fabulous summer on Vancouver Island with family and friends and lots of music…The only slight damper to it, was the loss of my voice for 3 or 4 days, which made me lose a really fun gig with my buddy Lindsay Martell, and make me absolutely paranoid about my vocal cords.
The (OG) Guilty Birds performed a SUPER fun night at The Nanaimo bar in Nanaimo, and I got to hug a TONNE of familiar faces..A lot whom I had not seen in many years….It was good for the soul.
Matt Carter was one of those faces I had not seen in a million years, and not only came out, but took these wonderful photos, which definitely show how much fun we were having.

Had a sneaky little performance at Island FolkFest this year and rumour has it, the band will be invited for next summer’s Festival.

I also had the chance to perform once again at one of my favourite festivals. The 39 Days of July Festival in Duncan.

Last May, here in Lisbon, I worked with this amazing band for a corporate NATO event…These guys will join me once again for our first ‘Camille Miller & The Guilty Birds Band’ show in Lisbon, this coming February 2026
I had my first show a couple of weeks ago in Pontypridd,Wales with the one and only Rosalie James. It had been 20 YEARS since we had gigged together and seen each other in real life…We have always kept in touch via the World Wide Web, but NOTHING beats a real life gig with a friend…SHe was amazing, and we had a blast. TIWN media put the event on and I am super thrilled I was able to be a part of the night…
